Symbolic shots to be fired in protest of NY SAFE Act

JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. – A local county sheriff will be part of a protest against the NY SAFE Act on Saturday.

Fulton County Sheriff Tom Lorey will be attending the protest in Johnstown at noon.

This local protest is part of event that has been planned throughout New York State. A symbolic shot will be fired to protest the one year anniversary of the NY SAFE Act.

The protest will be held at the Pine Tree Rifle Club on 419 Johnson Avenue Extension.
