ALBANY, N.Y. — A 24-year old was sentenced to 3 ½ years in State Prison Wednesday morning.
Travis Stewart, of Bronx, New York, was sentenced to 3 ½ years in State Prison, to be followed by two years of post - release supervision.
Stewart pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony, on November 15, 2013 after being the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation on October 10, 2013.
Stewart gave a false name to the trooper and was removed from the vehicle so it could be searched. The search uncovered crack cocaine that Stewart was responsible for.
