Woman accused of bank robbery turns herself into police


TROY, N.Y. – Troy Police have announced on Monday that they have successfully closed a bank robbery investigation.

According to authorities, Marie Corrina Testo, 33, allegedly robbed the First Niagara Bank on Third Street on Broadway in Troy last month.

The Green Island woman has been charged with Robbery in the 3rd Degree.

Testo's arrest came after an almost month long investigation. Troy Police say she turned herself in at Troy Police Headquarters without incident.

Defendant was released under the supervision of the Rensselaer County Department of Probation and will be in court at a later date.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery.
