Mass. man arrested after traffic stop leads to drug discovery

TAGHKANIC, N.Y. — Troopers from the State Police barracks in Livingston arrested two men at a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway.

On January 1, 2014, Joshua Burke, 20, and Max Teichert, 20, both from Pittsfield Massachusetts, were pulled over for speeding and then found to be in possession of Ketamine and Marijuana.

Burke was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance fifth degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Burke was charged in the town of Taghkanic court and sent to the Columbia County Jail with $2,500 bail.

Teichert was issued an appearance ticket for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and released.
