Flu clinics to be held in Saratoga Springs, Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The Visiting Nurse Service of Northeastern
New York, along with the Visiting Nurse Service Foundation, will offer free flu
clinics for the community in January.
The shots will be available to anyone regardless of their
ability to pay, and those with no insurance are encouraged to attend.
The first clinic will be held at the Holiday Inn 232
Broadway in Saratoga Springs from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. on January 2. The
second will be at the Albany YMCA located at 616 North Pearl St. from 1 to 3
p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. on January 3.
"This is our way of giving back to the community. The VNS of
Northeastern NY is now in seven counties across the state and we have been
offering home care visits since 1919. We are proud that we can offer this service
to those that need it most," said VNS CEO Joe Twardy.
For additional information or to pre-register, please call
the Visiting Nurse Service at 382-8050 ext. 245.
