NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. – Three people have arrested on drug charges after they pulled into a Town Hall parking lot.
According to Albany County Sheriff's Deputies, they witnessed a car pulling into the Town Hall on Sunday. While authorities investigated the driver of the vehicle, Daniel Hahn, 30, told police he was lost.
Hahn and his passengers were then found in possession of a scale, a quantity of marihuana and a quantity of crack cocaine.
Hahn, Bradley Cormack, 25, and Shannon Murphy, 21, were taken to the Albany County Sheriff's Public Safety Building. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Murphy had a quantity of crack cocaine secreted in her person.
All three have been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd with intent to sell, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Hahn was sent to the Albany County Jail with no bail and is currently on parole for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd with intent to sell.
Cormack was remanded to the Albany County Jail on $50,000 bail. Murphy was remanded to the Albany County Jail on $10,000 bail.
