Memorial service for Lake Luzerne stabbing victim scheduled


LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. - Services were held for the victim of a deadly Christmas Eve stabbing.

The Warren County Key Club held a memorial for 42-year-old Patricia Burns on Sunday.

The service were at Hadley Park at 3 p.m.

The group is also holding a benefit for Burns' family on January 12th. That benefit will begin at noon at the Longhorn Restaurant and Pub in Lake Luzerne.

A Niskayuna man is accused of murdering Burns.

Clifford Burns, 46, allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times around 5 p.m. Christmas Eve. He is the estranged husband of the victim. A 22-year-old woman was also stabbed in the arm when she tried to intervene, according to deputies.

Clifford Burns was charged with 2nd Degree Murder after his arrest and sent to the county jail without bail.

Additional charges are expected.
