ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police are investigating a fatal shooting at 91 Grand St.
Calls reporting the shooting came in a little before 9 a.m., according to police. One male victim was taken to Albany Medical Center where he later died.
Steve Smith with Albany Police would not say how many times the victim was shot, but neighbors say they heard five shots fired.
"Officers are on the scene here. They canvassed the neighborhood. Anyone with information that may have seen what happened are urged to call the police," said Smith.
Grand Street was closed for five hours Monday as officers
conducted interviews, and placed evidence markers in the middle of the street.
Anyone with information is asked to call Albany Police.
