ALBANY, N.Y. – A benefit for a local family who lost their house and belongings in a fire was held on Sunday.
A fundraiser for the Alden family was held at The Barrel Saloon on Broadway in Albany.
The family lost their home this year. The blaze left the family without shoes, clothing, and other belongings. They also lost Christmas gifts for their four children.
All proceeds from the benefit, which featured the band Out Past 9, were donated to help the Aldens.
Donations included shoes, clothing, towels, coats, blankets, hats, and toys.
The mother wears a size 2 or small in women's. The father wears size large in men's. Twin adult girls wear size small in women's. The young girls, ages 5, 7, and 8, wear sizes 5, 7 and 8 in girl's clothing. The two-year-old boy wears size 3T.
