Pipes burst, cause damage to two Troy restaurants


TROY, N.Y. - Two popular restaurants in Troy are shut down after some pipes burst, causing water to gush out in both businnesses.

The incident happened at the Daisy Bakers and Bacchus Pizza on Second Street in Troy.

 According to officials at Daisy Bakers, an employee at the pizza restaurant called management around 8:30 this morning to say there was a flood.

 The employee was able to find the lead and shut off the water but the damage had already been done.

The restaurant's ceiling collapsed and the electrical system was damaged.

No word yet on how long both eateries will be closed.
