MALTA, N.Y. - The New York State Appellate Court will review a decision by a Supreme Court Justice in the race for Malta town supervisor.
The court will hear arguments over two contested ballots thrown out by a lower court on Monday. That ruling maintained a one-vote lead for eight-year incumbent Paul Sausville over Democratic challenger Cynthia Young.
Young contends she would be the new supervisor if the two absentee ballots in question are included.
