Governor Andrew M. Cuomo (has) launched a statewide toy, coat and school supplies holiday giving drive to benefit families in need throughout New York. "New Yorkers have a long tradition of generosity and charity, particularly during the holidays when we have always come together to support our neighbors and those who need our help the most," said Governor Cuomo. "As we celebrate with family and friends this holiday season, I encourage all New Yorkers to remember those less fortunate and pitch in whatever they are able by donating clothing, toys, or school supplies to help bring some much-needed relief and cheer to families in need." The Office of General Services (OGS) has set up drop-off locations across the state for businesses and individuals to bring the toys, coats and school supplies, which will be distributed to families in underserved communities throughout the state.
