Police: Man drove drunk to turn himself in to authorities

PATTERSONVILLE, N.Y. - A local man voluntarily turned himself in to State Police on charges of violating an Order of Protection.

On Monday, Dominick Lombardi, 42, entered the NYS Police barracks in Brunswick in an intoxicated condition. He admitted he drove himself from Pattersonville, a 45 minute to one hour trip.

According to Police, Lombardi failed sobriety tests and his BAC was .23%, nearly three times the legal limit.

Lombardi was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd and Aggravated DWI. He was arraigned in Town of Brunswick Court and released on $300 cash bail.
