Sheriff: Man faces 3 felonies after incident at mall
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – On Monday morning, Sheriff's responded to a call of a robbery at Aviation Mall.
According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, they
responded to a call of a robbery around 10:10 a.m. on Monday.
Authorities say Bradly Brean, 20, was arrested at the scene
for three felonies and several misdemeanors.
Brean is accused of entering a store in the mall and
demanding jewelry and credit cards from a known female acquaintance. When the
female refused, Brean allegedly removed some jewelry and pinned the female
against a wall in the back storeroom. He is also accused of covering her mouth
and nose with his hand when she attempted to call for help. Authorities also
say he took the victim's cell phone away for she could not call 911.
As Sheriff's arrived, they found Brean detained by Mall
Security. The South Glens Falls man was arrested and charged with Robbery in
the 3rd Degree, Attempted Robbery in the 3rd Degree and
Burglary in the 3rd Degree.
He was also charged with Obstruction of Breathing, Unlawful
Imprisonment, and Criminal Mischief.
Brean was arraigned in Queensbury
Town Court and was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu
of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond for bail. He is scheduled be back in court
later this month.
