National Grid employees help decorate Ronald McDonald House for the holidays

ALBANY, N.Y. - As the holiday season kicks off, festive light displays are going up all over the Capital Region, including at the Ronald McDonald House in Albany.

On Monday, National Grid employees decorated the house in an effort to bring a little bit of joy to some of the people who need it most.

"They called up and they said we have this great idea," said Ronald McDonald House Executive Director Jeff Yule. "We'd love to come out and decorate your house for the holidays.  It's something we always would like to do, but we only do it if we have a donor, cause we just don't have that kind of money to spend.  So, it's a real blessing, it's a big help."

The Albany Ronald McDonald House has been helping sick children and their families since 1982.
