SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Mail service in the 1600 block of Van Vranken Avenue has been suspended after someone allegedly tried to hit a mail carrier with a BB gun.
The mail carrier was uninjured after the BB only hit the mailbag on November 21, around 1 p.m.
However, the Postal Service is now concerned about delivering to the area. It is unclear when service will resume.
For the time being, mail can be picked up by residents at the main Schenectady Post Office on 29 Jay Street.
