Schenectady PD arrest Ellis employee for invasion of privacy

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Schenectady Police say they have
arrested a man following an investigation into an invasion of privacy.
According to authorities, Paul Bourdeau, 45, has been charged
with two counts of Unlawful Surveillance in the 2nd Degree, a felony.
Bourdeau, a registered nurse, is accused of hiding a mini
camera inside an employee bathroom of Ellis Hospital. The camera was discovered
by another employee. That employee turned the evidence over to hospital administration
who then contacted police.
The investigation revealed the camera was in the bathroom
for at least one week.
Bourdeau has been arraigned and released on $1,500 bail.
