Vermont State Police search for missing Ripton man


BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont State Police are searching for a missing 54-year-old man.

According to authorities, James Daignault, was reported missing on Monday. He was last seen on Saturday, November 23rd around 10 a.m. leaving his home in Ripton, Vermont.

Daignault was on his way to the local food shelf in Burlington but never returned home.

State Police say reports have indicated that the man was last seen at the Middlesex Park and Ride where he had met friends to go to the food shelf. Those friends later Dropped Daignault back to his vehicle at the park and ride on November 24, around 2:30 p.m.

He was last seen driving a 2001 maroon Plymouth Neon with Vermont registration FMM551.

He was last seen wearing camouflage suspenders, a hunter orange "zombie" t-shirt and grey sneakers.
