ALBANY, N.Y. –Tully Rinckey PLLC and Hannaford Supermarkets handed out free turkeys to active duty and retired military personnel for Thanksgiving through the fifth annual "Turkeys for Veterans" program on Monday.
The turkeys were hand delivered to approximately 200 active duty service members and veterans.
This Thanksgiving marks the fifth year for the "Turkeys for Veterans" program. Since the program's inception in 2009, Tully Rinckey PLLC has provided the Thanksgiving table centerpiece for the family members of hundreds active duty and retired military personnel in the greater Capital Region.
"In the military, service members fight for the man or woman beside them. And I'm proud to continue that tradition here in the Capital Region as Tully Rinckey watches out for the veterans around us as Thanksgiving nears," said Tully Rinckey PLLC Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey, a U.S. Army veteran.
"All of us at Hannaford were honored to once again work with Tully Rinckey to offer a sense of comfort, home and warmth to those who so selflessly dedicate their lives to serving our country," said Hannaford Supermarkets Community Relations Specialist Molly Tarleton. "We feel privileged to serve those who serve this Thanksgiving."
