ALBANY, N.Y. -- New plans for a down-sized Albany Convention Center were unveiled Monday.
The project would now cost about $66 million and not need any taxpayer subsidy.
The Convention Center Authority says it will coordinate with the state and private developers for plans for the mixed-use development with annual revenue of $2 million.
The authority says it could be done by 2016, and that it would bring more than 150 permanent jobs.
