Barking dog leads to Fugitive from Justice arrest

WATERFORD, N.Y. – A 26-year-old Waterford resident has been arrested after a call about a barking dog led to the discovery of a warrant for her arrest in the state of Florida.

On Sunday, November 17, Waterford officers received a call for a barking dog inside an apartment at 52 3rd Street in the Village of Waterford. It was discovered that the owner of the dog, Melissa L.
