Albany Police investigating Sheridan Avenue robbery

ALBANY, N.Y. -- A robbery that occurred on Sheridan Avenue in Albany Wednesday is under investigation.

The victim told police that at about 5:40 a.m., an unknown male armed with what appeared to be a knife, approached her in the parking garage located at 100 Sheridan Avenue and demanded money. The victim, a 41-year-old female, complied and the suspect fled the scene with the victim's cell phone.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and the suspect is described as a black male, approximately six-feet tall. He was last seen wearing dark colored clothing.
