28-year-old Hudson Falls man accused for making meth

Hudson Falls, N.Y. - Police have arrested a man for making Methamphetamine, also known as meth.

Hudson Falls Police say they arrested Nicholas Deyette, 28, for Manufacturing Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree, a Felony.

According to police, they investigated Deyette's Tidmarsh Street home on Sunday after receiving a tip.

During the investigation, police determined there was an area on the rear enclosed porch where Deyette was making meth.  They also located a small amount of chemicals in the trunk of his car and in his garbage.

The two story home had to be evacuated as the Fire Department was called to the scene. A team of officers from the NYS Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team removed all harmful substances in the home while wearing suits and breathing apparatus'. The items were then disposed of safely.

Hudson Falls Police were assisted by the Washington County Sheriff's Department and the Hudson Falls Fire Department.
