Posted:

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The results are in from the latest Siena poll on how some New York voters view Governor Cuomo and the Common Core learning standards.

Governor Cuomo is getting his lowest job performance numbers since taking office. While 44 percent of those polled gave him a positive rating, 56 percent game him a negative rating.

Voters were more closely divided when it comes to the Common Core learning standards -- 45 percent are confident the new standards will make students more college ready - or career ready. Forty-nine percent are not confident about the common core.

The numbers are based on 800 registered voters who were polled.
