Habitat for Humanity builds on after thefts

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Habitat for Humanity volunteers are back at the site of a build in the City of Gloversville where tools were stolen some time last week.

The home, located on Bloomingdale Avenue, was the target of thieves some time over night last Friday, according to police. Several tools including a compressor, nail gun, and a chop saw were stolen.

Since the thefts, members of the community have come forward to donate money and tools to keep the project moving forward.

Organizers of the build say they hope to finish up some of the home's interior work on Saturday.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Gloversville Police Department at 773-4506.
