NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. – There is an investigation into a forcible touching incident which took place near a car wash on Tuesday afternoon.
North Greenbush Police says they are looking into the incident which allegedly took place in the area of Hoffman's Car Wash on State Route 150 in Wynantskill.
A female told authorities that she was jogging in the area when she was suddenly approached from behind by a man unknown to her and then touched her inappropriately.
The suspect ran off after the victim turned around and pushed him away.
A Good Samaritan was attending to her vehicle at the car wash when she heard the victim scream and went to help the female.
Police say the man was last seen running past Cook Street on Route 150 towards Main Avenue.
The suspect has been described as a white male in his 20's with a pale complexion, approximately 5'8'' or 5'9'', 120lbs, skinny build, dirty blond hair. He was wearing a gray jacket and black pants. He is believed to be physically disabled and had difficulty running.
The woman was not injured, although according to a statement released by Police Chief Robert Durivage, she is shaken up.
