SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - A teacher at the South Glens Falls School District has been put on administrative leave, after being accused of harassing a student in class.

In a letter sent to parents in the district on Friday, School Superintendent Michael Patton says the complaint was made to State Police on Wednesday, after the teacher allegedly harassed a student during the classroom instruction.

Patton says district administrators have been working with State Police during the investigation. The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Anyone with concerns regarding this incident is asked to call the Superintendent's office directly at 793-9617 ext. 1.
