WILTON, N.Y. - State police are investigating after two people were tied up at McGregor Pub in Wilton while an armed robbery took place Thursday morning.

Police say the incident occurred around 10 a.m. at the Route 9 bar. The two victims, the owner and a salesman from a local beverage distributor, were tied up with zipties by the suspect who police say had a black handgun during the crime. No one was injured during the incident.

Police say they are searching for a male suspect who is described as black or white, 6' tall, wearing a ski mask and hat. The suspect fled the scene in a small silver SUV, possibly a Honda CRV.

Information has been developed that a second vehicle, described as a small silver sedan, was seen at the business at two separate times earlier in the morning.

Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the area of McGregor Pub between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 583-7000.
