Livingston man accused of committing sex offense


LIVINGSTON, N.Y. – State Police say they have arrested a Columbia County man for allegedly sexually abusing a female under the age of sixteen.

According to New York State Police, Wayne Sisco, 41, was arrested on November 2nd after troopers responded to a report of a domestic incident at his residence.

Authorities say they were advised of information indicating that Sisco committed a sex offense over a year ago.

Investigators responded and interviewed the family members, which led to Sisco's arrest on Wednesday.

Sisco has been charged with Sex Abuse 2nd-degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  The charges stem from the incident which took place in the summer of 2012.

Sisco has been arraigned in town court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond.
