DA: Woman sentenced for stealing $60,000 from workplace

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – A woman has pleaded guilty to stealing $60,000 from her former employer.

According to the Berkshire District Attorney, Felisa Kazimierczak, 44, pleaded guilty in Berkshire Superior Court on Wednesday morning.

While she was employed at Greylock Federal Credit Union, Kazimierczak stole about $60,000 on March 1, 2012.

She has pleaded guilty to one count of Kidnapping, one count of Misleading a Police Officer or Other Person, one count of Filing a False Crime Report, one count of Larceny over $250, and one count of Making False Entries into Corporate Books.

Judge Adostini sentenced Kazimierczak to concurrent 2 year sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction for the Kidnapping and Misleading charges. She was also given a 2 year house of correction sentenced to be served on and after her first sentence for Larceny over $250. Kazimierczak will serve 4 years at the Berkshire County House of Correction.

The kidnapping charge stems from Kazmierczak not allowing a bank employee to leave the building.
