Bennington woman tackled by masked man in driveway


BENNINGTON, Vt. -- According to the Bennington Police Police Department, a town woman was tackled by a masked man in her own driveway November 1.

The alleged incident happened at a home on Goodall Street off of County Street and near Mount Anthony Union High School.

The woman told police she was getting out of her car when the man came up from behind and forced her to the ground.

She said the man muttered something unintelligible before running off.

The man was described as wearing all black and a white Halloween mask.

Police are looking for any leads in relation to the incident.
