QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Two people have been arrested during an underage drinking detail by New York State Police.
According to authorities, Troop G, Zone 2 conducted an underage drinking initiative in Warren and Washington Counties on Saturday. The purpose of the initiative was to target the sale of alcohol to minors.
During the sweep, 31 establishments in the county were visited by someone undercover and underage, attempting to buy alcohol. These businesses included grocery, liquor and convenience stores.
Michael Zalenski from Minoque's Beverage on 266 Quaker Road in Queensbury and Armand Rawlins II from the Hess Mart on 756 Quaker Road in Queensbury were arrested.
They have both been charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st Degree and they will be back in court at a later date.
