QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – A Deputy Director at the State Division of Criminal Justice Services has been arrested for public lewdness and DWI, according to State Police.
Ronald Dickens, 48, was arrested on Sunday, shortly before 6 a.m.
State Police say they were called to the rest area on I-87 northbound near Exit 18 in Queensbury for a man who exited his car naked.
As State Troopers arrived, Dickens put clothes on and was taken to the Queensbury barracks for processing. It was determined that Dickens' BAC was .15-percent, nearly twice the legal limit.
Dickens was formally charged with Public Lewdness and Driving While Intoxicated, both misdemeanors.
He was released with an appearance ticket.
Dickens is the Deputy Director for the Office of Program Funding and Development, which works to support the criminal justice community. He is currently on leave.
