WILTON, N.Y. – A 29-year-old Queensbury man has been arraigned on several charges after allegedly asking two teens to send him inappropriate photos.
Members of the New York State Police in Wilton arrested Daniel A. Jause on October 25, and he was arraigned in the Town of Wilton Court on charges of Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the 1st and 2nd Degree. He was also charged with a Criminal Sexual Act in the 3rd Degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to police, the arrest is based on the complaint of two teenage victims who have alleged that Daniel Jause asked them to send inappropriate images to him using their cell phones. He is also alleged to have engaged in a sexual relationship with one of the underage victims.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred in the Town of Moreau during the Summer of 2013, when Jause worked as a stable hand at local area stables and barns where he met his alleged victims.
He was remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash, $10,000 bond bail. Anyone with further information regarding Daniel Jause is asked to contact the BCI at the State Police Barracks in Wilton, NY.
