TROY, N.Y. - There was a stabbing outside a bar in Troy on Saturday night.
Troy Police say the stabbing happened around 9: 15 p.m. outside the Irish Rover on 102nd Street.
According to authorities, a man was approached by another male who then demanded money. As the victim turned to walk away from the suspect, the man was stabbed in the back several times.
Police say the man was taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. They say the stab wounds were superficial.
The suspect has been described as a white, adult male who was wearing camouflage shorts and a black hat.
