Possible carjacking in Schenectady, police looking for 2000 Nissan Maxima


SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Police are investigating a possible carjacking that occurred Thursday morning.

Schenectady Police say a man exited his vehicle on Crane Street and 4th Avenue around 10 a.m., while the car was unlocked and the engine was running.

The man told authorities he was then approached by one man and one woman.  The suspects and the victims exchanged a few words, according to police, then the man and woman jumped into the vehicle and left.  They were last seen leaving on Crane Street towards Rotterdam.

The vehicle is a 2000 Nissan Maxima, color black. 

Schenectady Detectives are now investigating the possible carjacking.
