Two minors arrested after allegedly stealing from Union College Fieldhouse

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Two minors were arrested on Wednesday after allegedly stealing from the Union College Field House.

Schenectady Police say they responded to a call of the thefts from the visitors' locker room on October 13th around 2:30 p.m.

Authorities investigated the incident and were able to identify the suspects.  The juveniles' identities will not be released due to their age.  However, they are both charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree.

Due to the suspect's ages, they were referred to Family Court and released to their parents.

Some of the property that was reported stolen has been recovered and will be turned over to the victims.

The Schenectady Police Department is asking anyone who may have purchased or whose child has suddenly obtained an iPhone 5 and/or 4s or Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones to call the Schenectady TIPS line at 518-788-6566.
