Sheriff: Car accident leads to release of pesticides on State Route 28
JOHNSBURG, N.Y. – The NYS Department of Environmental
Conservation Spill Team had to respond to a car accident to clean pesticides.
According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, on Tuesday
afternoon a vehicle drove off State Route 28, entrapping the driver.
As authorities arrived they determined the driver, Nicholas
June, 23, has a medical condition while driving, causing the accident. While the car was driven into a ditch, the
vehicle released pesticides. The Spill
Team responded to clean the area.
June was able to exit the vehicle. Although he was unharmed
he was taken to the Glens Falls Hospital for evaluation.
