Man accused of burglarizing homes in Montgomery County

FORT PLAIN, N.Y. - After a month-long investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, a man has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and narcotics pills from at least two homes.

The Sheriff's office says 20-year-old Brandon Sealy, no current address, burglarized two separate homes, and is suspected of a third. It was originally believed that Sealey had fled the area to North Carolina, however on October 10th investigators received a tip that he was at a residence in the Village of Fort Plain.

Sealey was located and brought back to the Sheriff's Office for questioning where he confessed to the crimes. He has been remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Anyone with information about these cases or any other case is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 518-673-2554, 518-853-5500 or 518-736-1850.
