SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Two local schools have made the November issue of Cosmo magazine -- Skidmore and Bennington College – but the article ranks them in the Top 10 worst colleges for women to find single men.
Reporter Meagan Farley headed to Skidmore in Saratoga Springs to see what students thought about this ranking.
"I think it is absolutely hilarious, but I believe it," said Freshman Jukianna Quiroz.
Quiroz says she has her own strategy when it comes to meeting men on campus.
"I'm winning right now. I go up to people, but some girls aren't able to do that and it is crucial."
So we asked her male friends what they thought about the article and if they were offended.
"I don't mind," said Sophmore Ferdinand Meyer. "There are more choices for me to find the right girl."
But throw that ranking out the window when it comes to Daniella Deutcsh and Truman Purnell.
"We met in front of a dorm just five days after I got here," said Deutcsh.
Purnell has a strategy of his own.
"Maybe we could do a sticker system. If you have a green sticker you are single and a red one if not. That should identify all the single men on campus."
