ANCRAM, N.Y. – State Police say they arrested a man on Wednesday after he trespassed on a former customers property.

Police say they received a trespass complaint from a woman in Ancram.  As authorities investigated they found the woman had fired a Catskill man who had been working on her property.

Since he was fired, the victim said the man returned to her home and removed property.  The victim told the man several times to leave the property but he did not comply.

State Police arrested Karl Hinkle, 56, and charged him with Petit Larceny and Criminal Trespass, both misdemeanors.

Hinkle was issued an appearance ticket and will be back in  town court on October 23rd
