Rotterdam to discuss EMS systems at public meeting Wednesday

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – The town of Rotterdam will hold a public meeting Wednesday night where they are expected to discuss a plan to replace the town's emergency medical services system.

The issue was the focus of another public meeting last month where residents said the idea makes them worried about safety.

The town supervisor is suggesting dissolving the entire EMS system to instead go with Mohawk Ambulance -- a cost saving measure.

The meeting is being held at the Town Hall starting at 7p.m.
