Former Wendy's employee accused of stealing from safe
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - The Warren County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Glens Falls woman for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the safe at a Wendy's Restaurant where she worked.
Officials say 34-year-old Tricia Kilduff was employed at the restaurant as an assistant manager at the time of the theft that occurred on April 30, 2012.
On that date, management
from Wendy's, at 714
Upper Glen Street in Queensbury, contacted the
Sheriff's Office to report a larceny of $2,423 cash from a safe located in an office
within the restaurant.
During the investigation it was determined that
that there was no forced entry to the building and the safe was locked prior to
the money being removed. Police also determined that a minimal number of
employees had key access to the building and knew the combination of the safe.
Police now believe Kilduff
went to the restaurant during the early morning hours of April 30th after closing and removed the money from the safe.
time of her arrest, Kilduff was incarcerated in the Warren County Correctional
Facility on an unrelated charge.
Kilduff was arraigned
in Queensbury Town Court
and returned to the Warren County Correctional Facility.
