Police: Woman had $11,000 worth of cocaine in Gloversville home
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – The Gloversville Police Department says
a joint execution of a search warrant led to the arrest of a 60-year-old woman
for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
NYS Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team worked with
the police department to search 258 West Fulton Street on Tuesday. During the execution, more than 5 ½ ounces of
cocaine with a street value over $11,000 was seized.
Authorities say they also found $1,900 cash, marijuana, and
equipment used to package and weigh drugs for sale.
Kathy Ryle was arrested for Criminal Possession of a
Controlled Substance, a felony.
Police say she was arraigned in Mayfield Town Court and was
sent to Fulton County Correctional Facility without bail.
According to authorities, they will continue to investigate
as more arrests are possible.
