Police: 62-year-old accused of attempted sexual abuse of minor
LIVINGSTON, N.Y. – A 62-year-old man has been arrested on a
sexual abuse charge.
New York State Police say an investigation into a report
about a man having unlawful contact with a female under the age of 13, led to
the arrest of Daniel Davis.
Authorities say Davis has been charged with Attempted Sex
Abuse in the 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He has been arraigned and was sent to
Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond. He will be back in court on Thursday.
The joint investigation with the Columbia-Greene Child
Advocacy Center and the Columbia County District Attorney's Office is ongoing.
