Hundreds of marijuana plants removed in Montgomery County

ROOT, N.Y. - Law enforcement conducted marijuana eradication in Montgomery County last week removing hundreds of plants from the county.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's office and the New York State Police conducted the eradication on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Approximately 450 quality marijuana plants were located and removed from various locations throughout the county.  One specific spot on Logtown Road in the Town of Root had some very high quality plants that were labeled with signs named "Critical Mass."

The investigation continues into who is responsible for growing these illegal plants.

No arrests have been made at this point.
