Breast Cancer Awareness month kicks off

ALBANY, N.Y. - Tuesday kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month for October.

The afternoon of Tuesday, October 1st, the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Mayor Jerry Jennings, Albany Fire Chief Robert Forezzi, and members of the Albany Fire Department will hold a press conference announcing the sale of pink t-shirts to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Northeastern New York, Kelly's Angels, and Locks of Love.

As part of this awareness and fundraising program, members of the Albany Fire Department will be wearing and selling the pink t-shirts throughout the month of October.
