Police: Two arrested after armed robbery in Greenwich store


GREENWICH, N.Y. -  The New York State Police in Greenwich say they arrested two men in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at the Cumberland Farms Store in Greenwich on Tuesday.

According to authorities, around at 3:45am Tuesday, two masked individuals entered the store.  The cashier told police that one suspect pointed a handgun at them and demanded money. The cashier complied and handed over approximately $100.
Video surveillance footage and interviews lead to the arrest of Chad Niles, 21 and Jarimi J Lee, 20, both from Greenwich, NY.  They have been charged with Robbery in the second degree.

The money taken during the robbery and a BB gun pistol were recovered during the arrest.   
Niles and Lee were arraigned in the Town of Greenwich Court and remanded to Washington County Jail on $100,000 cash or $200,000 secured bond.
