ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Free tours of New York's cavernous century-old Capitol building will be adding ghost stories starting Oct. 7.
The Office of General Services says the annual "Capitol Hauntings" tours will explore the legends, folklore and tales of hauntings from the statehouse's history.
Space on the hour-long tours, offered at noon and 5:30 p.m. weekdays, is limited, and registration is required.
The building is closed on weekends, and no tours are scheduled on Columbus Day, Oct. 14.
The hauntings tours continue through Nov. 1.
Individuals and groups of 10 or fewer can register online at www.ogs.ny.gov.
Larger parties should call (518) 473-7582.
