ALBANY, N.Y. – There are a number of events scheduled throughout the Capital Region for Saturday and that means road closures and parking restrictions will be set up.
LarkFEST 2013 is from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but parking restrictions and road closures went into effect at 5 a.m. Saturday. Those who will attend this year's LarkFEST are being reminded of new safety measures.
Color Me Rad will be held at the Altamont Fairgrounds Saturday and participants are reminded that Route 146 is seeing construction. Guilderland PD say those attending the 5K are asked to find an alternate route because alternating traffic will be in place on Route 146 until 6 p.m. and traffic congestion is expected.
Farm Aid 2013 will be held at SPAC and the event will headline Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews. The farmers and fresh food will be bringing a number of people to the area so traffic on the Northway is expected to be congested.
The Schoharie Fire Department Rock 2 Rebuild will run from 9 a.m. to Midnight Saturday on Main Street. The only road to watch out for in the area is Spring Street, which will see closures throughout the day.
The 3rd Annual Pedal-Paddle-Run Triathlon will be held in Schenectady beginning at 8:30a.m. NY Route 50 will be blocked to traffic during the start of the race at 8:30 a.m. and will be closed until 9:30 p.m. From 8:30a.m. to 10:30 a.m. the following roads will have closures…
